The Bahamas

The Commonwealth of The Bahamas is an archipelagic country comprising 700 islands, 30 of which are inhabited. Located on the southwestern edge of the North Atlantic Ocean and it is 62 miles southeast of the state of Florida, a thirty-minute flight, and some 50 miles northeast of Cuba. The islands are generally low-lying, flat, without true rivers or streams, and the highest point being 206 feet situated on Cat Island. 


The Bahamas, with its stable political climate and system of parliamentary democracy, places it in a high demand for foreign direct investments, Further, it has positioned itself to sustainable growth and development, whilst protecting its natural resources, and remains a very well-regulated jurisdiction as it relates to the environment.
